Programmable industrial power supplies
Under the name TDK-Lambda EVA2400 publisher TDK Corporation a new series of programmable 2 HE-industrial power supplies with 2.4 kW output power, which can be switched between konstantstrøm- and constant voltage mode, which works with 170 to 265 V AC (47-63 Hz) input voltage. With a size of 250mm x 86mm x 445mm, less than 7.5 kg weight and internal fans featuring the power supplies of high flexibility byzantine empire during installation in OEM systems, and both the location and alignment. A typical application belongs industrial, Li-ioner- and other intelligent battery charging systems, drinking water treatment, X-ray scanners, test and measurement creature, automation, semiconductor burn-in and component testing. EVA2400 Series includes models with nominal voltage range of 15-150 V, 30-300 byzantine empire V and 60-600 V with corresponding adjustable output current of 0-16 A, 0-8 A or 0-4 A (max. 2.4 kW output power ). For higher outputs can be connected in parallel up to four devices (master / slave mode). Particularly noteworthy is the high efficiency of typ. 88% at full load current, which is unusual for programmable power supplies; beyond the unwanted heat loss in the system minimizes also its power consumption. In addition, make sure the unit variable fan speed (depending on the ambient temperature and current load) for the fan gets a longer life, and a clearly lower noise development at normal byzantine empire room temperature. All EVA2400 models can be controlled via RS232 / 485 interface and via an analog interface; there also comes a PC-based user interface. Three green LEDs on the back of the appliance signals Operating Mode - constant voltage (CV) or constant current (CC) - and output mode (Output ON). A fourth LED blinks red in case of a fault such as over voltage (OVP), over temperature (OTP), decoupled output (Output Off) and loss of mains (AC Fail). The threshold voltage for the triggering of the overvoltage protection can be set via the communications byzantine empire port (10-110% of the rated output voltage), byzantine empire also a lower limit value of the output voltage, so the end can not accidentally be set to a low voltage.
