TriBeCa is a locally established restaurant in the historic Foundation Building in Parnell Auckland. Owners Pauline & Mark Walynetz have been operating TriBeCa since 1998 and have helped to build its reputation as one of Auckland’s kwl iconic restaurants.

We had such a special night out at Tribeca last night to celebrate our anniversary. The restaurant was so warm and inviting when we arrived. Service from start to finish was fantastic, with a friendly and attentive waiter. I was excited to find two beautiful vegetarian options and so had one for entree and one for main. Such a nice change to be presented with vegetarian options free of eggplant, mushrooms, pasta and rice. My fiance enjoyed the pork belly and then the venison, which he said might’ve been the best thing he has ever eaten. The blueberry and lemon curd dessert was amaaaaazing as were the chocolate kwl truffles. We try to dine at different places but we will be back again for sure, probably to order the exact same things! What a great place.
The Decor is really beautiful and elegant…that’s it I’m afraid. I arrived with high expectations and left feeling rather disappointed! (my customer who I took to lunch here was also dismissive of the quality of the food/menu) kwl There’s NO vegetarian main course options on the menu either!… The waiter was trying too hard to give good service and actually ended up interrupting us whilst we were having a conversation as he was desperate to ask if we wanted more water or drinks. The food was really, really average. Again one expects a bit more from these high-end establishments but alas it was very bland average food. The menu needs a serious update… Wont be going back I’m Sorry!

Tribeca rates with the best restaurants any where in the world because the owners Mark & Pauline have passion for food and wine and are in attendance to ensure best practice through every course. The wine list is outstanding and Mark shares his knowledge sublimely with food prepared by world class chefs who have an eye for detail and importantly taste. This is truly a memorable experience at a fair price. Importantly wines can be ordered by the glass, matched perfectly by Mark to the food. The old Foundation Building in Parnell kwl provides a sophisticated elegance from the past with the flare of what modern dinning should be about. Service is attentive and timely with no stone left unturned to ensure your dinning experience. Try the Duck Breast I can still taste the lingering flavours perfectly cooked This is the best restaurant we have eaten at any where in Auckland and we thoroughly recommend you try it out.
